Bleep — Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Bleep is operated by BLEEP Limited, registered in Guernsey (company number CMP75500). These are our published standards for preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on Bleep, as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Bleep is strictly for adults

You must be 18 or over to use Bleep. This is not advisory — it is enforced at sign-up. The date-of-birth picker will not accept a date less than 18 years ago, so an account cannot be created by anyone who states they are under 18.

We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use Bleep. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we delete it and remove their content.

2. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

We prohibit, without exception:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind;
  • sexualised content or conduct involving anyone under 18;
  • grooming, solicitation or any attempt to arrange contact with a child;
  • using Bleep to make contact with a person under 18 for any purpose.

Accounts found to be engaged in any of the above are removed immediately and permanently, without warning.

3. How to report

In the app: open the other person's profile, tap the "..." menu, and choose Report. Reports naming a suspected underage user or a child safety concern are treated as urgent.

By email: hello@bleepmeet.com

Blocking is immediate, applies in both directions, and does not depend on us reviewing anything first.

4. How we respond

  • Reports concerning child safety, a suspected underage user, or harassment are reviewed within 24 hours.
  • All other reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
  • A reported account is restricted from contacting the person who reported it as soon as the report is made.
  • Where we find CSAE, we remove the account and the content, retain the evidence required by law, and report the matter to the relevant authorities, including the Guernsey Police and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

5. Point of contact for child safety

Our designated contact for child safety matters, including enquiries from Google, law enforcement and regulators:

Todd McPherson
Director, BLEEP Limited
hello@bleepmeet.com

Todd McPherson is responsible for Bleep's child safety practices and is available to speak to them. A postal address is available on request, and BLEEP Limited's registered office is on the public register at the Guernsey Registry (company number CMP75500).

6. Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where Bleep is available, including the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017, and we co-operate fully with law enforcement. BLEEP Limited is registered as a data controller with the Guernsey Office of the Data Protection Authority.

These standards are reviewed at least annually, and whenever the app changes in a way that affects them.
