Bleep — Deleting your account and data
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your Bleep account, or ask us to delete part of your data without closing your account. Bleep is operated by BLEEP Limited, registered in Guernsey (company number CMP75500).
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Bleep and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm, and re-enter your password when asked.
This is immediate and cannot be undone.
2. Delete your account by email
If you have already removed the app, or cannot sign in, email hello@bleepmeet.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. Delete some of your data without closing your account
In the app you can remove individual photos, change or clear optional profile fields, and delete individual meets at any time.
For anything else, email hello@bleepmeet.com saying what you would like removed. We will respond within 48 hours.
4. What is deleted
- your profile, including name, age, photos and every optional field;
- the meets you have posted;
- invites you have sent and received;
- your messages, and the chats they belong to;
- your login credentials.
5. What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: deleted data may persist in routine backups for up to 30 days, after which those backups are overwritten.
- Safety and abuse records: where an account has been reported or blocked, we keep a minimal record — the report and the identifiers needed to enforce it — for up to 12 months, so that a banned user cannot simply return. This is kept because we have a legal and safety obligation to, not for any other purpose.
- Legal obligations: anything we are required by law to retain is kept for the period the law requires, and no longer.
Nothing retained is used to contact you or for any commercial purpose.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017 you can ask what data we hold, have it corrected, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent, or complain to the Guernsey Office of the Data Protection Authority at odpa.gg.
